Ryan Swanson
Booster and Seven is pleased to present Adventures in Decadence, a solo show by artist RYAN SWANSON. For this exhibition, Swanson combines reconfigurations of older sculptures with new works that have been adjusted to react specifically to the formal details of the gallery. Components of furniture are transformed, and through a loss of functionality and context, assumed a new existence. These structural elements are adorned with found patterns and facades familiar to domestic spaces, merging the object's history with formal design attributes.
